Kids "finish it yourself" kits

You know how you can buy a kit to build or finish your own TD or self bow. Does anyone know of a place that has a roughed out kids bow a guy can finish? I got a boss who is a hell of a woodworker. His kid has a intrest in archery. This guy know nothing about archey, told him about those kits he could finish but now I can't find the youth one's I saw once.
