I hunt the same way you are planning. Stand on your back, hike to spot, set up and hunt, take everything down, and carry out on your back.
This is the best method I have found and the only way i hunt. You will love doing it this way. you will find that you will have 100 good spots to hunt rather than 5-10. Now that you are going to hunt this way scout, scout, and scout some more. Get a note pad and log every potential stand site you find while scouting. Log good and bad wind options at each along with enter and exit routes. By the time the season rolls around you will have a ton of spots. then all you have to do during the season is look at the weather, look at your log, pick a spot, hike in, kill critter, hike out, eat fresh backstraps!
I have some great videos on my site that show how to set up the same way you are planing as well as videos on how to do it as safe as possible.
If you have any questions on hunting this way hit me up! Its the only way I hunt and been doing it for a long time. Dan (KSdan) Hunts the exact same way and uses an very similar set up. We just did a podcast together that will publish in a couple weeks with alot of this same subject covered.
