Mint, thanks for that link! Very informative. I've got my stand now, waiting for delivery of the SOP harness and still got to get the climbing sticks. I will practice plenty before heading into the actual woods.

Wannabe1, I made the linesman belt showed with the ascender and it works much easier than the ones you buy. With the one shown you can adjust with one hand while the ones you buy you must use two hands to adjust.

for taking the time to do these videos. They are really great for newbies to stand hunting like me! I have learned a lot and am anticipating the time to put it all to good use. Come on deer season!
