Kenny, you may have saved some one a flat tire.  That would sure make a hole in a four wheeler tire.

Me, son and  grandson went shed hunting last week.  Didn't find any but sure found a good looking spot for next season.

kennym

Yes it would! It was on my farm, so I know whose tire it would be most likely!   :D

Here is a visual of how dainty it is, pictured with the shed from the lease found earlier.....

Stay sharp, Kenny.

Some great finds guys! We went out this weekend looking for antlers. And man did we find some GREAT elk antlers. There was one problem with collecting them though. ....
The were still attached to the elk...   :biglaugh:
Few more weeks. I've seen them attached into April.  Keep them coming

Great finds everybody, thanks for sharing. I've found very few sheds over the years, but I've never intentionally looked for them either. I have run across several bucks that were killed the fall before and not found. I found a slammer of a buck, for around here anyway, during the late archery season one year. I know the guy that shot him earlier in gun season, so I cut the head off, and took it to him. From his reaction, you would have thought I gave him a new truck. I really don't need another hobby, but shed hunting sounds like fun, and I do have to do some turkey scouting anyway lol.

Find most of mine walking the travel corridors, but have stepped on my fair share, as well.   Found both of these in an open field about fifty yards from the road.  I hunted @1/2 mile North of here this year.  From bottom to top.  Small one is an eighteen month old deer.  Put my foot in picture for reference, about forty yards away found the skull.  Put it on my cooler for reference @17" inside nine point with a couple broken G3 points, and a nice kicker on right side G2, my guess @6 1/2 Yr old.  The tips had been chewed a bit.  Someone did not look hard enough in archery season, still had a couple thin pieces of meat on the skull that the beetles had not cleaned up.  iPhone pics.

Thanks C-R.

Wow, some really nice finds on here. I hardly ever find sheds, and if I do, it seems to be an accident. I have maybe found half dozen in my whole life.

I've been itching to get out after this thread started, but we can't get rid of our snow.
3 Feet in the woods yet and more coming this weekend.
Maybe in June...

Thanks for the tips Kenny and Charlie.  I have a long way to go before my first camping or hunting trip, but I have something to look forward to.  :)
