Western larch arrow shafts

Anyone else using western larch?  Just finished up my first dozen and was curious to hear some other shooter's feedback.

I would if there was a good shaft supplier. It would make a great arrow.

Would like to see Surewood start making them.

Any feedback on Kootenai River Archery from Bonners Ferry, ID?
They show they have larch shafts.

The ones I made up are from kootenai.  So far they are very straight and the 55-60 spine cut to 29" make a finished arrow in the 550-565 grain range.
