Sons First Shed Hunt
« on: March 13, 2015, 04:36:00 PM »
My spring break started today and I have been chomping at the bit to get out and look for antlers. I thought it would be fun to take my 2.5 month old son out with me in hopes he might bring me some luck since it seems like I put on countless miles each year and only find a few dinks. 70 yards into the walk we stumbled upon this guy, not 10 yards from one of my tree stands.

50 yards or so away I hear my wife say, "I think this is one over here but I'm not sure." I walked over there and across the creek sure enough, there was the other side. Sorry for the small picture.

I guess the little guy was a good luck charm today. Not only did we find a perfect match set together as a family, we almost got ran over by 2 coyotes chasing a doe through the woods, you should of heard my wife scream! What a great day!
