Grown in America and made in America. I like that, and it couldn't be prettier!

I really like the idea of a "Pure Michigan" Bow with all of the woods in the bow can be found growing here in Michigan. I'm a big fan of some exotic species but this goes to prove we grow some pretty special stuff right here at home.

Possum,  I cut that osage about 20 miles from my house, 6-8 yrs ago I think. We have a fair amount growing in the state.  Some grow to be very large.  I cut one that same year that gave me some 24" wide planks.

Fantastic, a 24" plank should make a truck load of longbow risers!

Really nice, Rick!  That osage really works with that riser and those veneers.  Well done, Chuck!

Wow, that turned out fantastic! I really like the looks of that straight grip on the Longwalker, don't think I've ever seen that before. I think you better let me shoot that a bit in camp  :)

I hope you get some arrows tuned in really good for it and start sharpening your broadheads! 21 days buddy!

Thom, I really like the straight grip on the Longwalke, and think you would as well.  The last few I made for myself had that grip, and after shooting Rick's bow, I remembered why.  Might be time to put myself a new one together.
