Anyone ever hear of or have any experience with a place called Gum Log Plantation? For Hog hunting?
I stumbled onto the web site and it looks like a nice place.....just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand experience. Thanks in advance for any help!

Never hunted there but it is located in an area where there should be a lot of hogs. I hunted for years on a private lease on the Ocmulgee River just north of Douglas which is downriver from Gum Log. Plenty of pigs. Highest pig populations in the southeast are typically found along river drainages and swampy areas.

X2 on the great location. Be careful as the site was created in 2015, not saying its a sham, but youre not going to find out too much info on them online. Hope it works out for you as hogs are the funnest animals to chase on this planet!

Don`t know the people but the place is in an area loaded with Pork. I was a guest once on a 225 acre very small tract a few miles up River. I killed two pigs in an hour while on foot and saw probably 40 more. there was no feed on this tract to pull them in. I`m sure the operation in question probably has a few feeders drawing pork. RC
