Recurve limb repair
« on: March 22, 2015, 06:19:00 PM »
I have a set of TD recurve limbs that need repair.  Actually one limb needs repair.  The glass separated on the back of the limb above the limb bolt holes.  This was a custom bow but the bowyer does not have the mold now.  I have seen a couple of ads, but would like some recommendations.  What would a repair cost?

The bow hospital is a sponsor here-seems to do excellent work.

Post some photos if you can. You may be able to do the repair yourself.

I am not sure about posting pictures.  Maybe my eight year old granddaughter will come by and help me.  As far as me repairing it, if black electrical tape will not fix it I will have to defer.  I do like your positive thinking.
