I have never used these shafts, and I am having a difficult time finding clear information regarding which knock adapers and point inserts are suitable for these (11.0 gr/in)specific shafts. Will the standard AD nock adapter work and... once the shaft is trimmed to say; 29" will a 100 gr. brass insert fit. Thanks!

Yes the same nock adapter will work on Trad heavie's and Trad lite's and even Nitro stingers. For brass inserts the standard one for 5/16" carbons will not work.Go to gomuzzy.com the sell 100 gr. brass inserts for AD's.Also do not trim from the nock end, then your nock adapters probably won't fit right. On mine I glued in the nock adapters and then cut off the tip at the line closet to the arrow shaft and then you can use Easton G-nocks or use glue-on nocks 9/32 seem to fit best. They are alot better the the standard AD nock in my opinion.

JRY,
Thanks for clearing up the nock adapters. Your opinion of the AD nock seems to mirror everyone elses I've talked to. When I look at the Muzzy site, I don't see inserts...the Muzzy inserts I see from LAS say they are for 5/16" shafts. I was hoping the standard 100 gr insert sold at 3R would work??

Go to gomuzzy.com again,I had a heck of a time finding them there myself.Go down to where it says Buy Muzzy Here and click on that and when you see a search window at the top of the page type in 557 and that will take you right to the inserts.

The Arrow Dymanics suppliers that sponsor Trad Gang carry all that stuff.
