Hello,
I have a 50lb recurve with a 28" pull that I am going to pull to 29". I am wanting to try to get a deer or hog with this bow. What weight arrow broadhead do I need. Is aluminum or carbon better?
thanks

There are any number of combinations that will work...depending upon a mix of personal preference and what will tune best with your bow. I personally like an arrow that is a minimum of 10 GPP of draw weight with a high FOC and a sturdy two blade BH. I prefer carbons, but wood and aluminum are both available and excellent choices as well. The key to a lethal arrow is excellent tuning and excellent shot placement. Good Luck!

Find a shop or some one who has different sizes of shafts to try and try as many as they have.Go with the aluminum as they are simpler to deal with and cheaper to buy. It should take a 1916,1918,2013,2016,2018,or2114. Hope and try hard to make the 2016 work as I hear it`s one that Easton plans to keep making,Bob

What about broadhead weight? I have some 100g easton broadheads I used on a compound set up. Are the these 100g heavy enough? I know these questions sound silly but I am new to trad archery. From what I have read on this forum everyone uses super heavy broadheads.
