Tracker12....Please go back and read my post...In fact just read the first sentence you reposted.  I stated clearly "He is not a thief".

I do think once he learned the riser was wrongful sold to him, regardless of the circumstances,  and he knew who it belonged to...he should have done the right thing without pressure...JMHO. It was told to me the guy still made a profit on the riser. He did the right thing by getting it back to the rightful owner...that is what really matters...a happy ending!

I agree it shouldn't take outside pressure to do the right thing.
