Looking for recommendation on a outfitter in north-east Manatoba for a black bear hunt in spring of 2016.
Knows trad huners, old crippled hunter friendly.
Like a first class operation.

Does it have to be northeast Manitoba? Stickflingers is in northwest Manitoba. Only problem is I think he is full for 2016.

Yeah Ryan is booked for two years...hahaha. I tried to get in there. Going near Carrot River Sask instead for first week of June..hopefully rut is going on and some big boys will be around.
The fella I am using shoots a Habu recurve and has a large number of traditional hunters...if interested shoot me PM and he might have a slot or two open this year.

My wife and I are going with Ryan at Stickflingers in May. My recommendation is put you name on the list and hope for a cancellation, it is worth the wait. Stickflingers.com

Ten years ago I hunted with Terry Neely Outfitting. His camp is in the Duck Mountains. I killed the second bear that came into the bait after a two hour set on the first day. Price was good then not sure about now. Here is the two # I have, (204) 734-5826, (204)525-4386. Good luck.

I am going with Rock Ridge Outfitters...Kent and Lori. Ryan was booked until 2017 and I did not want to wait or take a chance. Bill Kissner has been with this outfit and highly recommends...as do a couple guys in PBS Forum. Plus Kent hunts with Habu recurve himself.
Perfect world...do both...get on list with Ryan...and pick another for now.

If your looking at the east side of the province look at Whiteshell Outfitters. Mike will take very good care of you. And he knows trad bowhunters.
