I used to hand serve my nocking point with No. 4 nylon serving. Now I just prefer to tie them on and burn the tag ends to lock it down.I tie them on with leftover B50,B55 and leftover D97.I find it quicker to tie them on then hand serving them.

I like to use plain dentil floss.  Ties on tight and easy, burn ends to secure.

So far I like Ryan Sanpei's knot.  Easy to do and dimension of the string, you can keep it small.  I did use dental floss, but did not think it was durable enough.

Always.  Just use string material.  Just did one again today.

yes all the time, I prefer to serve my nock point top and bottom so I can make it that there is only one possible place on my string my nock can go that way I don't have to look when I nock an arrow I can quickly do it by feel

I do.  I use #4 nylon.  I do not use FF type materials for nocking points, just found it harder to burn and pull up the way I like.  I use cake beeswax to really wax the thread.  Two nock sets above and below. Overhand knots, end with square knot, and burn ends.

I like Ryan's method.  BCY Nock Point tying thread or Power Grip in .032 if I need something thicker.

I use a nail knot with Halo .035. I always use larger string than my serving.

I save my old strings and just use the string material. No problem with it slipping
