changing hunting set up
« on: April 18, 2015, 08:51:00 PM »
For this fall Im changing a few things.
One of which is broadheads and shafts.
Ive decided to go with Snuffers or Woodsman on aluminum xx75's.
Probably snuffers, as they are wider.
Any opinions?

Snuffers are louder in flight, at least the ones I had were. May or may not matter to the deer, don't know, took em right back off the arrows and never shot em at a critter.

FWIW the woodsmans had a whistle too, so I'm back to a big Zwickey....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I have shot deer with both.  I prefer the VPA's if you're going with a 3 blade.  No cut outs...definitely quieter in flight and easy for me to get SUPER SHARP!  They are a little pricey but a great broadhead!
