Got this weekend for some turkey hunting and some bow fishing. Love shooting fish. ITS not like shooting in the south but still a lot of fun.

Nice shot!  And beautiful bow!  Is that a Black Canyon?

It's actually my beloved pronghorn. Let's just say I had not planned on bow fishing that day. But the oppertunities were to great to pass up.

Sweet Randy. Its been a long winter around here too and looks like the carp opener is gonna land at the perfect time with clear water devoid of milfoil. Good luck with your turks too!

Looks like fun!  What kind of reel do you use and how is it attached to your bow?

If I can get them in the shallows in the lakes I don't use a real at all. Just a quiver full of arrows. I do have to chase one sometimes though. But I get a lot more fish when I can shoot three or four times and don't have to real a bunch.

When I do need a real I am using the Muzzy set up. It works great.

Randy, if you tie a line to your arrow you don't have to hit them in the brain to get your arrow back! Haha. That could get expensive the way I shoot.

Do you eat those carp? I have never eaten carp before just heard that they are very boney. What do the taste like and what's the best way too cook them?

They are super boney and hard to get all the meat and bone separate.
