The long wait...
« on: May 27, 2015, 05:34:00 PM »
is nearly over!

I received an email from Abe last night that my featherhorn is complete and ready for shipping.

378 days since I placed the order and I am sure it will be well worth the wait.  I have not seen photos yet.  When I ordered it I only told Abe I wanted a yew core and was fine with yew on the belly but to mix it up on the back.  Riser wood was his choice.

According to the email it is sporting a cocoblolo riser, kingwood back, yew belly, beavertail grip and I requested a wood burning he had not previously done.

I suspect in 7 to 10 days I will develop a nasty flu and have to stay home from work for the day.    ;)

Oh, and don't worry boys, I know the rule.  Pictures will be forthcoming as soon as the wrapping is off the bow.
But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourself - James 1:22

Waiting is half the fun . And I can tell by the way you wrote your post that you might be coming down with something , so you should get plenty of fresh air and if at all possible , try to exercises your upper back and shoulders as well as your finger tips .
