I got one a couple yrs ago as a gift, it does the job but it is mediocre at best. Get the Go Pro  Hero. It is more money but they have lots more gadgets for it and from what I see it is very crisp and clear.

Agree, I used one for a year but it's way too wide angle to be useful. Hogs at 10 yards looked like they were at 50. Pronghorn at 35 yards looked like little brown blobs. Couldn't even make out horns on the bucks when I played it back.

The camera was only good for strapping to a motorcycle boot and riding twisties IMHO.

I use the Ion pro camera and it work well . Go pro has more mounting options but cost a bit more .
The Ion is water proff to I think 10 feet? I also mount it on my fishing kayak !

Go Pro is also a wide angle lens, so you still have the issue of only being effective to see game out to ~25 yards.

They did however just release an extremely cheap basic model Hero, well worth the money to try it out. It's $129 and still films in 1080p HD. If I had $130 to spend on an action camera to supplement normal camera angles on my hunts, I wouldn't even think about wasting my time on other cameras. I own a GoPro Hero 2 and it's fantastic.
