I have owned 3 of the Border one piece longbows models all carbon.

My biggest complaint was that carbon noise or "twang" drove me nuts.

I still own the Hunter GL carbon no glass. It still had the same noise until I tried a Fury string from Allen @ Ten Rings.  90% of that noise is gone. I wish that I could have tried it on the other Border longbows because they are a great bows by any standard.

I have no intention of getting rid of the Hunter GL.

Sorry for the long winded answer, I hope it helps.

Have heard nothing but good about the 1pc LB's, comparable shooting qualities to many of the top stateside offerings like Fox, 21st Century, etc when it comes to 'tournament longbows".

I have personally owned/tried the Raptor ILF limbs and they are excellent.  I used them on a 21" DAS Dalaa riser and they were quick for the weight, very very quiet and exceedingly smooth.  Their more recent work features very very nice craftsmanship and you will be most pleased.  If you need a viable alternative for any reason another superb ILF longbow limb are those made by Jim Neaves of Centaur.
