Hello everyone!
I have been shooting the following set up:
Tall Tines 60" recurve, long riser. 51# @ 28". I am pulling 30" so more or less 55 - 56# at my draw length. Shooting 31.5" BOP CE heritage 250 (.381 spine deflection) shafts with 245 - 250 grs upfront and 3, 5" feathers and standard bohning nock. I am almost at 11 GPP and the arrows weigh about 610 - 620 grs with a +-20% FOC. String nock is exactly 1/2" above square and have been shooting it that way ever since I got the bow. No need for a second nock under.
From one day to the next it went from being dead silent with the stock string and wool puff silencers to making a very frustrating noise and I have done everything I can to try to make it dissappear.
Here are the points I have gone through:
1. I shoot Split finger and bow is tillered for such.
2. My form hasn't changed and have corroborated on a 50# Black Widow and a 35# Hoyt pro Hunter.
3. The cork padding is as was the first day I got the bow.
4. I bareshafted the same arrows again just in case and they are still as were originally.
5. Brace Height is set at 7.5" and hasn't changed.
6. No wear at all on the shelf and just normal wear on strike plate, both Velcro. Feathers don't show any frizzle at al.
7. I checked th glue lines and they seem to be OK.
8. Glove is perfect, not showing any sign to change it.
I have no idea what to do next!! Please help me!!
Thanks,
Patrick.
