New bow!!!
« on: June 26, 2015, 10:46:00 PM »
After being bowless for 8 weeks, I finally have my new Bob Lee recurve in hand!!!

I chose "The Natural" model 62" , 50#'s @ 30" draw.

African shedua and curly maple woods make up the handle and the limbs are clear glass over black walnut.

What a pretty bow if I do say so myself!       :bigsmyl:

And what a smooth bow to draw and shoot.  Whisper quiet!!!

Here's my 3rd group at 10 yds, after a 8 week hiatus from shooting.

I've been shooting every day since I got my bow.

I've owned only 2 other recurves, a Martin X-200 and a Hoyt Dorado.

I shot those bows "for fun" using my Hoyt compound to hunt with.

I can't get over how great my bow shoots.

I'd consider my self an average shot w/ a recurve, but the groups I'm shooting at 10 yds make me pretty happy.

As long as I have a rock solid anchor point the arrows go right where I want them.

It's like the bow is shooting itself.

I shot one of Bob's bows at a shoot I kick myself for not buying it. Great shooting bow.
