Satin over the gloss as gloss tends to be a harder finish.

I don't know that it much matters to a deer if it's gloss, satin or flat...but I don't Know. I prefer satin or flat, because it just makes me "feel" more invisible. Beautiful bow I bet it'll look great whatever you decide. BeauJ

Only tangentially related, but about 20 years ago, one local news station made a big deal about some graffiti by Satan worshipers on some old sheds in southern Indiana. Well, those devil worshipers must have been very illiterate as the spray painted words were
"Satin lives!" and "I worship Satin!"
The reporter did not seem to notice the spelling as she was so caught up in her story. :D

Beautiful bow Cory!
Cory's bows shoot even better than they look, I think that he is on to something.

Nice job on that one Cory. If it is a stock bow I would leave it Gloss very pretty on the rack. If it sells and the owner wants it dulled down you can always spray the satin Thunderbird on it later.

It is beautiful. For myself, I would go with the satin so I wouldn't spook the deer with the gloss on the bow. It is beautiful!

I sent my Blacktail back to Norm to be refinished because I did not like the gloss finish when hunting. Norm claimed the satin finish he now uses is a tougher finish. I think it is.

Gloss for me. If I'm going to hunt with it I'll use limbcovers.
