Opening -- Trad Hunting Club in GA
« on: July 08, 2015, 05:48:00 PM »
Had a member who could not make the payment... We have an open spot.

I lease 535 acres in Carroll County Georgia near the town of Whitesburg, about 60 miles west of Atlanta. I have an archery only hunting club that we have only bowhunted for the past 5 seasons. We usually carry 9 members each year. We are mostly traditional with one current member hunting with a compound a few days per year. A couple of guys only hunt during the week and there is rarely more than 4 people at the property at any time. Our property is bordered by almost 1000 acres that has not been hunted for the past 15 years and will not be hunted in the future providing a sanctuary for our deer. We are bowhunting only throughout the deer season (mid September to mid January), gun hunting is allowed for small game after deer season and for turkeys. We use a pin in / pin out system with no reserved spots. The cost is $700 per year. Membership runs June 1st to May 31st. We have a primitive camping area, no power or water at this time. If you think you might be interested send me an email and I will get a map of the property and a copy of the rules to you.

I`m on this club and it is excellent. We prolly have about 10 acres in food plots, it was selectively clear cut last year but they left lots of creek drainage's and hollas.
I am the only one who camps out there, so far, and have never had my camp messed with. I go out everyother weekend just to relax and do a little pottering around. I`ve yet to see more than 3 members on the lease.
Hit me up and I`ll take you around.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.
