First bow for my oldest Son.
« on: July 08, 2015, 09:37:00 PM »
Ethan, my 8 year-old Son, has decided that he wants a bow just like Daddy's. So I got a decent deal at an unmentionable auction site on a Little Bear 20#@24" and spent the last couple days working out the limb twist. It is all ready to go as of tonight. Got him a little quiver, some small wood arrows, arm guard, and a little glove. My wife is working crazy hours this week so this Saturday we will give it too him and post pictures of him shooting his first "real" bow. I am excited!

Way to go getting the young ones involved. Post up some pics of him shooting when you can.

That's great!  Not many things better than shooting with the kids.

My Dad got me a Little Bear Bow when I was 8 years old as well. I loved it and still love shooting trad bows 50 years later.

It's a special time when you give your son his first "real" bow.

Congratulations.
