There is a much larger than normal outbreak of EHD in TN this year.

Hemorragic disease is a big deal in a number of states this year.  Kentucky is another state that is being adversly impacted.

Southern and Central Indiana unfortunately make the list too.

Apparently the drought this summer caused the deer to herd up at the watering holes that didn't dry up..the midges seemed to hang out at those same watering holes.  The rest is a deer epidemic.
Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes....
