Green Mountain bows for sale just don't come up for sale very often. They are fantastic bows in my opinion.I got mine right before he stopped making them.
This site didn't remove it's classifieds, you just have to be a contributor to browse and gain access. It will cost you $30 for a year which breaksdown to $2.50 a month.
Good luck though I have only seen maybe 3 for sale in this past year.

My brother has one he is selling for $300.  It is 66" 56#@28 I believe...it could be lighter maybe 54#, I haven't seen it in a long time.  It has a Cocobolo riser and juniper or yew veneers under clear glass.  A nice looking bow for sure.  Can provide pics if interested.

The poster is looking for a Green Mountain brand longbow.  They were made by Jim Duclos I believe is his name from up in New England.

I have one on my rack. It was the first custom bow I ever bought. That was in 1996.....it's a great bow and Jim's craftsmanship was flawless. Mine is a reverse handle 62" long. Jim was a great guy to deal with and a true gentleman.

Tajue, I suspect most visitors here (including Boreal Boy) don't have access to the site classifieds.

Boreal Boy, I have one available (62", 46#) but I wouldn't ship outside of CUSA.  If shipping to a USA location is possible and you are interested, PM me and we can discuss details.

Moderators, I'm not trying to skirt the classifieds rules, I'm just trying to help Boreal Boy meet his needs for a hard-to-find bow.  If this post violates the site rules then feel free to remove it.

Thank you all for the friendly advice and tips.
I was looking for something a little lower in weight than my 50# super shrew, such as a 40-45#. However, I will also consider a 55-58# as i am looking to go up as well.
I am just turning thousands of Saskatoon berries into jam, once that's done I will sit down tonight and Pm some of the people who.

Thanks again to everyone! This forum is never shy of friendly people willing to help!

Best,

BB
