SPONSOR ISSUE
« on: July 31, 2015, 12:02:00 PM »
We seem to have an issue with a couple of Sponsors running ruff shod over other Sponsors, belittling other Sponsors and taking over every thread that comes down the pike about bow questions.

It will no longer be tolerated as we've had members complain for months and now a 'representative' of a group of Sponsors has spoken to me on their behalf about this repetitive problem.

There will be NO names mentioned on either side....but we are going to deal with it.  So, if this doesn't clear itself, and your favorite bowyer disappears from this site, you will know why.

Sorry to have to bring this to the memberships attention, but we don't need or have time to answer 500 emails when certian Sponsors vanish....along with ALL their threads and posts.

I hope this takes care of the problem.  I really do, as we've never had an issue like this before.

Tough call Terry, but we trust you to deal with it correctly.

Too bad it's a problem in the first place.

I haven't personally observed this happening.  In fact there seems to be considerable camaraderie among the sponsors in general.  It's one of the things I admire about this site!

BUT, you must do that which must be done.  The fact that you are willing to do it is one more thing I like about TradGang.

I have never complained, but I certainly have occasionally been uncomfortable/annoyed by some sponsor posts.  Most sponsors stay classy and let the quality of their work and the praise of others "sell" their product.
It is this type of moderator response that makes Trad Gang far and away the best archery site on the web.  We should all remember to occasionally thank our moderators for performing a very difficult and often thankless job.    :clapper:

This intolerance of trouble makers sets this forum apart from most all others. It makes Tradgang a pleasing place to visit and interact. Keep up the good work.

I believe I know who you are referring to, and I have almost complained myself a few times on the same/similar issue.

Thanks for taking care of it.

I've had complaints from more than a couple of members and a group of sponsors so I'm not sure where you get the word couple from....... especially since I never said the word couple.

And I certainly won't be tolerating my words being twisted and manipulated and when I say its a problem that's what the hell I mean

I want to apologize for my post above I was a little pissed off.  I called no one out by name but yet I was called out by being accused of making false statements and challenged  to "bring it on".....it flew all over me.....

Make no mistake tradgang.com.com is going to be tradgang.com or there will be no tradgang.com.

No member or sponsor will ever ever change that.  WE have a REAL job and this site takes up enough of all he admins times as it is.
