if you can place your decoy where it is visable from a long ways off , I have never had a deer on full be a problem. Last year I had three different bucks ram the decoy. If they hear you and then see the decoy its all over for them as long as you have the decoy facing you and up wind at 30 yards. In my experience, the live deer will circle to the DW side of the decoy and then either charge from head on or slightly to one side. This places the deer in front of you, looking away from you and usually in the 5 to 10 yard range.

good luck

Thanks Jim. The woods where I want to use it is a big chunk of open hard woods with a high ridge over looking it. I'm pretty excited.
