Indian Archery Hawkeye - info?

I am looking at an Indian Archery Hawkeye, 56". From what I have been able to find, they were a no frills bow, unrefined, but decent shooters. Price is under $150, in pretty good shape.

I know it's not expensive, but I don't want a bow I can't use. I'm not familiar with them. Were they good bows? Would it be ok to put to work (assuming it is in good shape)?
