ILF Quiver options / creative solutions
« on: August 16, 2015, 08:36:00 AM »
So for those of you that are running metal ILF risers with the only quiver fastening option being the Kwikee Quiver site mount threaded holes in the riser, do you have any creative solutions for attaching other style of quivers to your bows?

My quiver inventory is made up of:

Selway Slide On
Great Northern Quick Detach
Great Northern Side Mount

I'm contemplating drilling and tapping for the great northern side mount on my riser, but thought I'd see what you guys typically do if you don't like utilizing Kwikee Style bow quivers.

Thanks!
Matt

I believe Great Northern makes ILF adapters for the quick detach. Otherwise I would suggest the Selway slide on.

Rock, now that's what I'm talking about!

Just found some pics. Now need to confirm that this works with the New WF-19 Riser's custom ILF Bolts.

I use an old Hoyt QD that has a bracket that goes under the limb bolts.
Send me a PM with an email and I will send you photos...

Try this link to pics in Photobucket.  It shows the Hoyt 4 arrows on my Morrison and one photo of the extra 7 arrow quiver I have.
These will not work on Titan risers, so it depends on the riser you are shooting.

I would not drill and tap any riser.  Even if it works, I think you destroy the value.

Wheels, that's a cool set up.

Any more info on that quiver? I like that 7 arrow quiver, very creative set-up.

If your riser will take the brackets, it is great.  Two screws and the quiver comes out for off season.  You just have to back out the bolts to compensate for the thickness of the brackets.
