I cannot seem to locate my old copy of a great VHS video of a longbow hunt in Alaska for moose.
There were two guys, both from Michigan I believe, one was Gary (?). They both hunted moose with longbows, ended up shooting big bulls. As I recall, one of the bulls went down in a marsh and they used their inflatable air mattresses to aid in field dressing and recovery.
They had trouble flying out due to the river icing up early. The float plane could not land at their location forcing them to move everything to another spot downriver.
I think the same VHS documented hunts from a couple different trips to AK.
It was not professionally produced, but it was a good one nevertheless.
Does that ring a bell? And, do you know the title and where it is available?
Thank you.
