I have all these great ideas set aside waiting for action    .  

Right now I take a reflective wrap and cut it into 1/4" strips (1"x1/4")...this is my cresting fore and aft of the fletch.  If you hit it with a light you can see it for MILES.  Works great for finding those practice shots from the tree after dark or looking for your arrow after it has gone thru your deer

Sorry boys but I am having a bit of trouble seeing the "Traditional" in this.  Lighted knocks, reflective tape, next thing you know someone will be putting the clapper thing on their arrows.  A better idea would be to just roll up some tin foil and then after we shoot them we could have a smoke!   :confused:

Don't get too used those lighted nocks, you won't be able to use them next year at Doug's, they are illegal in Montana.  However the glow in the dark paint and the reflective tape are alright.

I crested a dozen arrows with reflective sign material and they drove me nuts.  Just couldn’t bring myself to shoot them out of a selfbow so I and used the big black marker and covered all of the reflective material, except the top ½ inch.

I don't think I'll get hooked on them just something fun to try.  They are neat for coon shoot targets at dark though.  I had to play around with something while everyone else is hunting and I'm still waiting on our season opener!  Doc

I made a couple up yesterday and they work awesome. only thing is the Dick's Sporting Goods (only outdoor store near here, until bass pro opens next month or Cabelas opens next week....both over an hour drive away), only had the lite & bobber combo pack, not just the replacement lite.  so it was more a 2 to 1 cost saving over the name brand.

had to order some stuff from cabelas anyway, so I ordered the replacement lite/batteries yesterday so I can make up a few more.
