It's all going to come down to this.
« on: September 02, 2015, 12:53:00 PM »
I ordered my 150 gr Magnus Stingers 2 blde. I will find out if all my tuning efforts were in vain or right on the money in a few days. fingers crossed for me. this is the last step in preparation before the season comes in. (aside from treestand shooting a bit)...I can't wait to shoot that head and see if I finally did something right!

Should be a great BH. I took a bull elk with the 125 grain stinger from a 46# bow. Arrow was 630 grains.

Hope they shoot well for you.

Great broadheads. If they don't fly right, be assured its not their fault.

If your setup is well tuned, you will not have any problems with stingers!

Good luck!

I'm shooting 150 grain stingers, and they fly awesome!  On the same arrows, I get better flight with stingers than with any other head I own (two other kinds).

They are killers too!

Stingers fly so well they are pretty much worthless for broadhead tuning.  As the others said, if those don't fly for you the problem will be elsewhere.

I am a little nervous because I am still not shooting with perfect accuracy. seems like 2 out of every 3 shots are good but I always seem to have one shot that is not desirable. i just don't want that one shot to be the one that happens at the moment of truth.

Landon,
If you are only consistent at 10 yards, then set up for a 10 yard shot and don't take anything further.  Stay within your limitations and stay focused and you've got this!

Landon. Would that all our shots go where they are supposed to. Prepare as best you can. We aren't perfect. Sometimes even shots taken at game in our "comfort" zone go astray. If you don't want to put yourself in that position, then you shouldn't go out.
X2 on Magnus Stingers. Shot through a moose in Newfoundland with a 100 gr. Buzzcut, albeit with a compound. But I'm positive they'll perform out of trad gear equally as well.
