newbie needs help

looking for decent cedar or equivalent arrows for a 45-50# recurve at draw fo at least 32" in the east texas area, any suggestions... just using them for target shooting until I can learn how to use the bow properly

Sure hope someone comes on with a suggestion. Until they do, I'd suggest trying one of our sponsors... there are several of them that will get you into "good" wooden arrows.
Any dealer/shop that doesn't specialize in Trad stuff may not really know what they are doing.

32" WOW!!!. I have some uncut that might work. send me your address and I will send them to you. They are uncut so will need to be tapered, but you are welcome to them. 1 dz POC's.
