After thinking about it a little more; the Greybark limbs are $120 less if you ever want to buy extra limbs.

My PCH is a 60" bow also but I had it made 51# @ 28".  Birdseye Maple riser and limbs, with red and black stripes in the riser. I have the Asbell grip also, smooth drawing and shooting bow.  Feels like I'm holding hands with my wife when I shoot it, just a great feeling in my hand.
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Thanks guys... Looks as if I'll have to give Roger or Toby a call and nut this all out. I will request, if they can, to have dark Tiger myrtle limbs to match the dark riser. I'm also thinking a light white pin stripe of glass will boost it somewhat.

I do love shooting widow recurves... They feel dead in my hand and I've not shot a better bow.

Great choice!  I haven't shot a better bow than a BW either.  There is no other bow I would trust more to pull 63#'s to your 29" DL.  I recently acquired a 60" PCHV.  It draws to my 31" like butter, is quick and solid on shot.  Ironwood no black or red, eastern diamondback skins...I look forward to the update with your final decision.

Al,

Mine is not a PCH but a SAXS. Here are a couple of photos just to make you choice of woods more confusing. Mine is Macassar and B&W Ebony. Both Ben's and BHall's bows are fantastic looking. As said earlier my preference would be the PCHX over the PCH II, but one will probably not out perform the other.

Thanks for those pics Happy1. I'm guessing they are the same timber combos I'm leaning towards mate?

happy1,

That is one great looking BW! Those Myrtle limb veneers are fantastic. Simply an awesome wood combination!

Al, you can also order your bow of choice without the coin inlay if that suits you. Decisions, decisions,decisions.....

lol.... Danny, I only plan to have two bows, my huntsman and now my new PCHX that I just ordered this morning from Roger at BW.

I went with Zircote in the riser, no red glass but two white pin stripes. The limbs are in Tiger Myrtle and I asked for them to be as figured and dark as they can find. I also asked for the nicks to be dark with a light white pin stripe also.

Bow will be a 60" bow, 63# at my 29" draw and shall be called... 'Lulu' after the name of the Land Rover that carried my wife to me on our wedding day last month in Africa. Good memories right there...
