Blue Grass Army Depot Quota Hunt
« on: September 16, 2015, 03:39:00 PM »
I was drawn for the Blue Grass Army Depot Quota Bow Hunt this year.  I've never hunted there but know it to have some really big bucks.  It's QDM managed and has LOTS of Deer.

Anybody here ever hunted it?  I drew Area C and get to scout the day before.

Just wondering what to expect from the hunt.

Good luck,  I have never heard of it but sounds like a great opportunity.

I have but it was over 20 years ago. Was great back then, now I have no clue. Keep us posted.

TJ, I can't find anything current on the net.

I'm looking forward to it but pretty much going in blind so to speak.  Signed up with a friend so we'll be pooling our knowledge and scouting as much as we can on the day before.

I have hunted there and it is a good hunt. However, you are really at the mercy of the military guide that you are assigned to. you go in before day light and he says you hunt here. sometimes it is a good spot, and other times, not so much. Good Luck, I hope you have a great hunt!
