Congratulations on the lesson learned......and the deer.  My guess is you remembered to pick a spot.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Yep.  and I wasnt shaking as bad!  I shot just under the buck...but this time, I slowed down, took my time, picked my spot and put it about 2 inches left of where I was looking but up down was perfect.  Arrow went through the near shoulder clipping the near lung and top of the heart and exited under the off leg.
