String makers?
« on: September 29, 2015, 10:55:00 AM »
Does anyone know if Rick ****** or Josh (aka oliverstacy) are still making strings? I sent both an email a few days ago and no response. They may just be real busy, but didn't want to loose time if they aren't making strings anymore as mine is needing replacement ASAP and season starts on the 3rd!

Thanks

Allen makes a fine string but has about a 2 week turn around time not that I'll ever shoot anything but a 10 ring string but you said your season starts on the 3

Josh is no slouch either.  I have been pleased with his strings.  Send him a PM or email, he'll get back to you.

Looks to me like it's time for you to begin making your own strings.  It's EASY!

I'd get an in stock SBD 8 strand from Braveheart Archery. I can vouch for the quality of the string as well as the service from Braveheart.

Steve at bearbowman has made all my strings and they are really works of art and well made.  Like all the colors he can get into a flemish string.  Had people ask where I got my string at several 3D's; they are that good looking.  He's on here some and can be found under bearbowman or flemish strings on the net. He's fast enough and will answer emails rapidly.
