What traditional archery really is.

I got a floppy brimmed Felt hat just for a little extra Traditude.

The hat could be traditional, but a metal riser bow and those aluminum arrows? Just seems opposite of traditional to me..  But as long as you are happy..

Thumper- this is true The Creature (my bow) is very ugly but, man is it accurate. And yes boonies only barely count.  

Roy- come on man that's the whole point. Heck you can hunt with robots and still be trad if ya have a cool brimmed hat.

Part of being Trad..... a BIG part, is doing what you want ( legally) and not worrying what others say you should be doing.  If they tickle your fancy for any reason, shoot em.  I have no say in the matter.  I like that hat too, but the brim would get in my way.  Need something shorter or softer.

I like the look of them hats.....but can't/don't like to shoot with anything that has a brim like that.  Once in a while I'll do a ball cap,  but have to make sure the visor is cocked to the side.  Don't really care for it much.  I do a watch cap style beanie 99.9% of the time.  Heavy wool when cold,  light weight merino when its not.  
You got a nice hat there though!

Exactly, which is why the ultimate trad shooter knows that a lady's sun hat is the best head protection money can buy

That's my old bear minuteman.  Been spray painted a time or two and has tennis racket tape wrapped on the grip. She ain't much to look at but she shoots good
