Bears Paw bows??

Has anyone had experience with these bows? I was looking at the 3 piece longbow. They look pretty nice. How do they shoot? Are they Quiet? How about hand shock? It didn't say on the web site, but do they offer a checkered grip?
Thanks, Jonathan

Check with Dennis at Git-R-Done there in Canada. He probably can answer your questions.

I don't own one but I have a buddy that does. I've shot it a number of times and I can tell you that that 3 piece longbow is a real nice shooter. Very smooth to draw as well. Checkered grip? I really don't know. I would think the best person to ask about that would be the bowyer.

Neil's 3 piece TD longbow is a great performer, and his fit and finish is excellent. I also have his 3 piece TD recurve. It is also a great performer and looker.
Not sure if he offers a checkered grip or not. Give him a call, and he can answer all of your questions.

Neil Jacobson (Bowyer) is a solid guy and he builds a top notch bow. His BP bows are fast, smooth, accurate, and beautiful. I own several and have shot them for almost 5 years now. I absolutely love them. He does not make a checkered grip but he may be able to if you so desire. His grips are unigue in design and they are better than checkered (My Opinion).
His 3 piece long bow is awesome. I would highly recommend you contact him.
Good luck, Peter
