Southern Indiana Bowhunt/Bowbee Reminder
« on: October 15, 2007, 09:29:00 AM »
Here is your reminder about the bowhunt schedueld for October 26-30.  I plan on getting there on Thursday evening 10/25 somewhere around 8:00 PM.

Here is the website withthe details:   Southern Indiana Bowhunt/Bowbee

If you know you are coming, let us know with a roll call here.  Send me an email and I'll get you my cell phone number in case you need to contact me.

Just an update on the forest conditions.  It is DRY!  Fires have been banned on the National Forest but I have not heard about restrictions in the campground we are using.  I'll find out.

See ya there.

John

John, I'll be there as planned. Set up camp Sat. night and hunt Sun-Tue. Please have a blind, non-smelling or hearing, large-bodied deer located for me as my freezer is devoid of venison.

Wish I could join the fun, but the reality is I now have negative vacation time!  Wish I still lived in Cinci. so I could at least hunt the weekend.  Take lots of photos and share with the rest of us after this event!  Good hunting.

Whether there's 2 or 20 of us, I will gaurantee a good time.  The bucks are really getting turned on hunting the one or two does that feel the same.  The weather is going to be perfect once this breeze calms down and we are even going to get a touch of rain on Friday to allow for some stalking.  I've got my boots broken in and I am going to cover some ground on Friday and Saturday.  I should have at least a couple stupid ones picked out for us Darren.  If we don't have something hanging on Sunday night, I'll be surprised.  I'm not sure how much bowmaking I'll get done with the hunting so good but we'll see.

Seeya,

John

Something mysterious wrong with the car and no money to have a pro look at it so I can't make it. Sorry I really wanted to be there.

I know the weather wasn't great Saturday but it wasn't terrible either, at least, here at home.
I'd like to hear how it went.
