GA hunters lets talke Wabbits
« on: November 05, 2015, 04:31:00 PM »
Ok I find myself near August GA and am really bumbed about not doing a KS bunny stomp.

So I was thinking why not do a GA bunny hunt with tradgangers here.

I only know of on place that might hold some and that is Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge.

I hunted it last weekend during their Muzzle loader season and there is  power line that cuts across it with a nice wide and rolling grassy area. with mixed timber on both sides. I would be willing to call and ask what it takes to hunt small game there say sometime in January if I can find others who are interested. And see if the campground is open so we can do a pot luck if there are any takers.

So what do Yall think GA hunters heck I think it would not be that for for some TN, SC, NC, FL, and AL hunters to joint in.

Or if someone has some known good bunny ground that wants to host it that would be great also.

Are there any rabbits in GA?  I am in SC and dont see many where I hunt. Took me two years to get a shot at one.

Well heck that sounds like any bunny stomp I have been on. And I hit one with my car this fall so I would say there are some.

Rabbit hunting is a good excuse to get out and get some exorcise after deer season.  Feels good to not have to be quiet..
