Any use this pack? I'm looking at upgrading from my old no name pack and getting one for caribou and elk hunting. It's Cheeper and lighter than the kifaru. That couple extra pounds could be used for food or gear on my drop hunt for caribou.

I've never used it, but I really like my Stone Glacier Sky 5100.
Good luck on your choice, send us pictures when you get done with your hunt!

I used the 5200 on my Elk trip this last Sept. while the trip didn't come out as I had hoped the pack was great. Very comfortable and well made.

I have the original 3000 and 6000 and really like them. Just bought two of the 7200's (one for me and the other as a Christmas present) for another AK moose trip next fall. I will say they look better than the originals. However, I haven't had a chance to put them to the tests under a load yet, I will withhold judgements until they have 75#'s of moose meat and other gear on them.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
