I don't think I would need that much, but if you can... why not?

I just ordered a Rose Oak Custom Recurve - Puma Hunter. Wait time is 1-2 months. You could easily spend the 9 bills on one of his fancy bows or go with a cheaper model and still have a great looking bow (just going on pictures posted on Tradgang and on his web-site). From everything I've read he makes a great looking and shooting Recurve.
I'd be sure to spend anything left over on the wife, sounds like she's a keeper;)

I really like the looks of those Rose Oak Creations bows, Robert.
Check them out- they are sponsors here now and he is having a sale on the Sponsor's Classifieds on some bows already made..don't think you will have to spend all that money either to get a great one with his 15% off deal.

If you "gotta" spend $900 on one bow buy a Black Widow. Or does (lack of patience) mean you would rather not wait eight to ten weeks for a bow?
If that is the case there are lots of other bows priced about $450-$500 that are great for the money! Why not go that way and get two? Bet ya they are in stock now...

3 Rivers Dalaa with the E Adapter and B SRF sight. I replaced the velcro that comes on the bump rest and side plate with seal skin. It is the most accurate shooting bow I've ever owned.

You dont have to wait nine or ten weeks sometimes. I called and checked with them and they had what i wanted coming off the line with no owner. So I snatched up the little PSR and got it in about 2 weeks

Ricky Welch can usually build one in under 3 months. Right now, I'm shooting one of his bows better than any bow I've ever owned.

Robert, I just bought a used Kempf Kwyk Styk that was like new, I still marvel at how smooth it is to draw, and it's quick and quiet to boot. To quote the words of my friend Guru when I was looking,
"Don't rule out the Kwyk Styk bud.Jack has a great line-up of bows.Longbows,recurves,T/D'd and one pc.'s"
I didn't, and I haven't been disappointed.

Hello RC, hope things are well with you. How've you been hittin those hogs this year?? It's been a couple of years but Dan and I would still like another shot at those critters.
James is right. Best advice is always to shoot before you buy. I would wait until the Spring and go to a couple of the bigger Trad shoots. I want to buy it right off the table after I shoot it. I don't even want a bowyer to "build another just like it." ...Dave

Hatrick, Glad to hear from you! I did kill 7 pigs at Horsecreek this year. You are welcome to join me any time. I have camped for a week the last week of October or the first of Nov. for five years now and plan on next year God willing. You and Dan are welcome to come down.
