A few years ago I asked what people did with their elk ivories. This is what I came up with this week.

Nice! I have a ring and Connie a pendant that we had made with ours.
I have a few laying around that I need to get something done with.

I had my wife a pair of ear rings and a necklace made of some of mine, they turned out beautiful, she likes to wear them on special occasions. I really like your idea with the arrowhead, good job! I'm always looking for ways to use mine.

I like it! Mine sit around in a small box somewhere....not really even sure where.
An elk killer like you ought to have enough for one of those elk ivory dresses for your gal!

They make a great shelf on a selfbow. Here are a couple of pics of a James Rempp Yew selfbow.

One I made for a guy about 10 years ago. Buffalo horn scales with the elk ivory inset into the handle.

Very nice, Randy. With all of the elk you've put on the ground, this could become a business venture.
A friend's recent custom engagement ring had an elk ivory instead of a diamond. They're both very outdoorsy people and she was happy as heck with the way it turned out.
