Anybody near southeast missouri?
« on: December 30, 2015, 08:01:00 PM »
I was just wondering if anybody on here was from around the Cape Girardeau area of Missouri?  If so I would enjoy meeting and shooting together. I'm still new to traditional and would like any "in person" help or advice I could get. Thanks.

I'm in the south Saint Louis area. I know that's far but there is a trad squirrel hunt probably taking place around here at Weldon springs and it would be great if you made the trip up!

JakeD, I'm from the Dyersburg area, but now live in Bartlett, just outside Memphis.  I know that's a pretty good drive, but our local club, Lost Tribe Traditional Archers of Tennessee, puts on a great 3-d shoot once a month from February through August or maybe September.  The club is on-line and on Facebook.  Contact Bill Bigham, president, for more info.  You'll have a great time, and meet some wonderful people.  If I can help, please contact me.

Jake,
Welcome. Terry is right. You need to check out United Bowhunters of Missouri. I'm just south of St. Louis but a some of our members, including past president and board members are in the Jackson, Cape Girardeau area. Check out our website. We have our annual banquet in Feb and a rendezvous in June. Plus these guys down there are avid bow fisherman also and would welcome a new guy
