Traditional shows / conventions?

Now that my son is getting old enough to enjoy it - what traditional shows are there? I see posts on Denton Hill, ATAR, and such, and would like to know what shows there are. Where, when, etc.?
I've never been but it sounds like a great time.

Denton Hill is pretty much king of the shoots here in the East. It is always the last full weekend in July and is in north central Pa. In addition to the courses there are 3 circus tents full of vendors and some good seminars offered. The last weekend in June is Sawmill, run by the same good crew that puts on Denton about a half hour east of the Denton site. Good courses, fewer vendors.

Here's the link to ETAR (Denton Hill)

If you're looking to buy a bow, this is the place to go.
Highlight of my summer!

Another smaller than Denton but really fun 3 day shoot is the BBTC (Baltimore Bowmen Traditional Classic) the third weekend in May. Great shoot, 3 courses, shoot all day, vendors, bowyers, massage tent.

This coming March (3-6), there will be the Professional Bowhunter Society's Bi-Annual gathering in St. Augustine, FL. I'm flying down with my wife.
It will be the collective gathering of the most dedicated bowhunters in the world. Plenty of seminars, guest speakers at the evening dinners (TJ Conrads and Monty Browning), along with auctions and raffles with all kinds of future hunt planning happening the entire time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

That sounds great Mike - my in-laws live in Ponte Vedra, only 20 minutes from St. Augustine. I might could make that happen.

There are, or at least were, a couple that come to mind. Check out the Carolinas Trad Championship usually held near Hickory. Seems like the other one was around Beckley WV. Can't remember the name and I know they missed at least one year. It may no longer exist, but then again, maybe they got it going again. I did some looking and it was called ATAR and I think it no longer happens. Too bad, it was a good shoot.
