two-piece T/D system?
« on: January 13, 2016, 03:51:00 PM »
Does anyone have a photo of the takedown system that Thunderhorn used to offer on their two-piece longbows? I recall that the riser was cut through the handle like a sight window cut, then bolted back together from the side. I was really impressed with the concept. Any idea how it held up over time?

I believe it's very similar to the 2 pc system that Jim Neaves of Centaur Archery is using. There are pics of Jim's system on his website.

That's it, Guss. I didn't know Centaur had that system. Thanks for the help.

Have you checked out Big Jim's ?  He does a simple, solid hook up.  Not nocking any others, just another method to check out.   :archer2:
