AAHHHUUUMMM...It's his other boss he is trying to please this year.....  ;)
Took all his vacation time for hunting trips this year...it's my turn for a little time next.
Sometimes a girl just has to put her foot down. You boys can have him the year after...maybe.

I hear ya, Miss Kim.

Don't keep him away too long, lest we boys decide we have to move the hunt to JC, since he can't come to the hunt...

That AIN'T helpin me any Stinson!  :scared:

Naw, she even offered to let me go when she found out it had been moved to Feb...but that's about impossible for me to get off that time of month. And I couldn't do Sweat as well as the week in FL I promised the family this year. I've cut Kim's & the boy's spring breaks short the last few years because of Sweat...had to even it out some this coming year.

Besides, I had to earn some "points" to cash in for the Quebec Quest, Vance's again, and who knows where else in '08. And then, there's australia hopefully with Whip in '09....and then.....  ;)

The absolute hardest part of Hosting Texas Sweat is trying to make everyone's schedule work so that everyone can attend. This year I found myself constrained by a closed season on javelina starting Feb 24. I had to move TXS08 because of that. I certainly will miss you Joe. Looks like we'll miss a few annual guys this year. Too many hunts and too little vacation time.

Kim, I like your style!

Irish....I will see what I can do in the cookie department. Maybe I can get a "package" to Curtis before he heads out.
Curtis, it's a tuff job trying to make plans that work for everyone. I know all about that! Don't worry, JC will be back in Texas before you know it.
Ya'll have fun and if I know many of you guys, you better start packing now!
That's part of the fun for JC...he makes a heck of a mess and spreads stuff all over the place. Packs, un packs, sorts, ho hums, and packs some more. THEN, after he thinks he is all set, I hand him a large container of cookies and double dog dare him to leave them behind.  :saywhat:  He just hates that....all his carful planning down the tubes for a few cookies.
That's how packing goes around here.....  ;)

This will be interesting.  I live in Midland, just 10 minutes from Odessa.  A real life Trad Gang hall of fame in my neck of the woods.  Cool.

p.s.  February can be REALLY tricky in these parts, might be blowing 50 mph, snowing, or maybe 90 degrees, ya never know.

Sure will miss you there this year JC, although it does help some knowing we hope to be sharing other camps before long.  I have to say I think you're making the right call though - those kids grow up way too fast as it is and those times can never be done again.  Enjoy them while you can.

There may be some of these veterans from last years' Sweat out here chasing critters, flinging arras and just generally socializing.
