magnus 4 blade
« on: January 26, 2016, 02:09:00 PM »
I got some magnus 4 blades and am not able to get the bleeders in, I have no plans on beating them in, any solutions or send them back, I have no plans on making a science project out of it but if a viable fix is known would like input.

If your talking about the Magnus Stingers you have to remove the small screw in the ferrule then slide the main blade out of the ferrule. There is a small removeable section of the ferrule that lifts off and the bleeder blade sits under it.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with the 4 blade classics.

sometimes you have to hold on to them w/pliers and push them in as slots will be really tight, if that doesn't work Id send them back they will make it right.

I know it seems like a dumb question but are these brand new?

Also heating the ferrule normally works great.

sometimes the stamping process leaves a burr along the edges of the bleeder. I've had to rub the bleeder on a piece of emory cloth in the past to get rid of the burr so the bleeder would slip into place.

If you can't beat it then I'd take it to the Mfg.
